The Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist will lead and support our online marketing efforts. This role involves planning and executing multi-channel campaigns, managing website content via CMS tools, and driving SEO/SEM strategies to boost visibility and traffic. The ideal candidate will create and optimize content for search engines, analyze campaign performance, and contribute to lead generation through marketing automation and CRM tools. Staying ahead of digital trends and ensuring continuous optimization are key to success in this role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, social media, email, and display advertising
  • Maintain and update the company website using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress)
  • Manage and optimize SEO/SEM strategies to improve organic search visibility and web traffic
  • Write and brief SEO-optimized news articles and blog posts
  • Identify relevant keywords and search terms
  • Edit meta tags, headers, and alt texts; optimize content for keywords and search engine friendliness
  • Monitor and analyze content and SEO/SEA performance, providing actionable recommendations
  • Develop strategies to gain high-quality backlinks
  • Optimize site structure for search engine visibility; improve page speed and mobile performance
  • Co-manage our Google Ads campaigns and track performance using various tools (especially Google Analytics)
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices
  • Support lead generation and nurturing efforts through marketing automation and CRM
    platforms

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing or a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of SEO/SEA, with hands-on experience using tools like Google Analytics,
  • Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Search Console
  • Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and CMS platforms—ideally WordPress
  • Familiarity with email marketing and automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Creative mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent command of, and high proficiency in, spoken and written English and German
