About the Job
The Automation Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution, monitoring, and improvement of automated operational processes within the Operations team. The role focuses on ensuring that daily automation tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, while assisting in testing, validation, and issue resolution.
This is a junior position suited for candidates looking to develop their skills in automation, operations, and payments processing.
Responsibilities
● Monitor and support daily automated processes to ensure timely and accurate execution
● Identify and escalate issues related to automation workflows
● Assist in the execution of test cases and validation of automated processes
● Support the preparation and maintenance of operational documentation
● Assist in incident logging, tracking, and follow-up
● Work closely with team members to improve automation efficiency and reliability
● Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing automation routines
● Ensure all activities are performed in line with established procedures and controls
● Carry out any other duties as assigned
● Gather information about manual processes and investigate how they can be automated to facilitate daily operational processes.
Requirements
● Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
● Basic understanding of IT systems including Linux file handling
● Basic knowledge of SQL is considered an asset
● Basic knowledge of programming
● Good command of English (written and spoken)
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy
● Good problem-solving skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Willingness to learn and grow within the role
● Exposure to automation tools or scripting
● Basic understanding of payments or financial operations
● Familiarity with testing concepts
● Basic knowledge of APIs
