About the Job

The role of Sales Assistant is to assist the Sales Team in generating the sales expected by RS2. The chosen candidate will also be responsible for the global sales functions of RS2 including pre-sales, creation of proposal, coordination and participation in trade fairs, follow up sales leads and presentations/demonstrations to potential and existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • To establish, develop and maintain business relationship with existing and prospective RS2 customers
  • To research sources for developing prospective markets and prospective customers
  • To communicate with existing and prospective clients to market applications and services offered by RS2 and RS2SP in liaison with the Marketing department
  • To keep an updated database with all the new and existing contacts in liaison with the Marketing Department
  • To coordinate pre-sales activities, in particular responses to Request for Proposals ( RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs)
  • To review RFP and RFI responses to ensure all expected requests are addressed and all documents are compliant with RS2 branding and templates
  • To maintain standard responses for RFP and RFI proposals
  • To develop and maintain presentations for existing and new modules developed bt RS2 and services offered by RS2SP
  • To keep up to date with all the applications developed by RS2 and services offered by RS2SP
  • To assist in the set-up and organisation of the exhibitions
  • To participate in trade shows and conventions
  • To supply management with oral and written reports on the activities of the sales team
  • To manage and expedite resolution of client complaints
  • Collate feedback from existing clients periodically and present the feedback through management reports
  • To ensure a high quality / standard of work and service throughout
  • Perform any other duties which are assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the area of Business Management ideally with specialisation in Sales and IT or similar
  • Experience in a sales related post is a must
  • Must be able to design and deliver presentations to a wide range of clients
  • Must have knowledge of the specific card business
  • Must be a good communicator and interact well with people at all levels
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to multitask
