RS2 Software is a publicly listed payment software and processing company serving major banks, payment service providers and other financial institutions all over the world. We are currently recruiting a Software Tester for RS2 German office located in Neu-Isenburg.

The Role

Software Tester’s role is to plan and conduct automated and manual testing of existing standard product functionality following generic releases delivered by RS2 product teams ensuring that software is still fit for purpose and no existing functionality has been incapacitated.


  • Contributing to the enhancement of automated and manual testing routines by creating Test Cases.
  • Executing and maintaining automated and manual tests to ensure that the software delivered is in line with the set business requirements documented in product catalogue.
  • Document any defects encountered, to ensure compliance with functionality prior to signing off and releasing the change.
  • Document and communicate test results using appropriate tools.
  • Provide support during generic implementations and any end to end testing that may take place.
  • Keeps abreast with the operational flows in order to get a wider understanding of the issue severity and priority.
  • Assists the wider GPM team by knowledge sharing and ensures knowledge growth within the team.
  • Addresses escalated issues, attends to meetings as required and follows-up on outstanding issues.
  • Assists in the design of preventive measures and documents issue resolution procedures.
  • Challenges standing procedures to maintain a lean resolution process and recommends process improvements to ensure operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Collaborates in the issue tracking and provides feedback as required.
  • Manages tickets using JIRA


  • Diploma/ BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 1 year working experience in a similar role, preferably in the fintech industry
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office and business software
  • Fluent in English; fluency in German will be considered an asset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; able to handle shifting priorities
  • Highly organized with close attention to detail
  • Working experience on automated processes is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with processing environments, ideally in card operations, will be considered an asset.
  • Regular Expressions (Regex) and Jenkins based pipeline experience is desirable. Experience in automation (e.g. selenium or cypress) is a plus.
