Summary/Objective

The Compliance Analyst will support card brand certifications and card brand compliance requirements. To succeed in the Compliance Analyst role, you will be the functional Subject Matter Expert/go to person to manage requirements and user stories for transaction processing applications and card brand certifications. You will work very closely with the card brand networks, acquirers/sponsor banks and clients to obtain certifications, work with Business Solutions, Operations, UAT and Technical teams in the EU and US and other project stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions focused on payment-acceptance products aligned with the Strategic Roadmap.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain current knowledge of various payment methods & processing flows, card brand regulations and requirements, technology, and competitive trends in the electronic payment industry.
  • Lead card brand certifications for the Business with internal and external stakeholders to provide solutions for clients that support their needs, identify gaps and vulnerabilities and be able to help solve them accordingly.
  • Provide a thorough understanding of how to interpret client business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Determine & manage dependencies between the solution delivery team and other groups including operations and servicing to facilitate the deployment of completed solutions.
  • Maintain procedures and anticipate and document results of client requirements, perform requirement analysis, uncover areas for improvement, develop optimization strategies and implement solutions.
  • Effectively update, gather, implement, maintain, and communicate critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce reports for team members and leadership.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Compliance Analyst or similar role in the payments/merchant acquiring industry.
  • Experience with card brand compliance and certification.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing if necessary.
  • Manage competing resources and priorities with teams in the EU and in the US.
  • Monitoring deliverables.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements in a cost-efficient way.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to use business analysis and project management techniques to drive projects to completion and track issues and actions, as necessary.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving, organization, multi-tasking, technical, decision- making, and relationship building skills.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence.
