RS2’s Bankworks ATM Controller latest version certified as PCI Compliant
RS2 Software’s commitment to deliver PCI Compliant products is confirmed again with the validation of the latest version of its ATM Management/Controller. RS2 has had its products validated for PCI compliance since the launch of the security standards and continues to revalidate all of its products on a yearly basis.
The PA-DSS report of validation for the Bankworks ATM Controller latest version details how the security standards set by the Payment Cards Industry (PCI) Standard Security Council have been satisfied. The recommendation to the council for validation was made by Sysnet Global Solutions following an onsite Audit in February 2011.
The ATM Controller module forms part of RS2’s Bankworks suite of products. It gives RS2’s clients the ability to offer reliable, efficient and secure services to cardholders through their ATM networks. The Bankworks ATM Controller provides real-time communication between ATMs and backoffice.
Sysnet Global Solutions is a global provider of information security assurance and compliance validation services.
PCI SSC is an organisation that sets security standards for organisations which handle information of major credit, debit, pre-paid, e-purse, ATM and POS cardholders. The PCI Security Standards include the Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) and PIN Transaction Security (PTS) requirements. The Council is found by five global payment brands that have an equal input and share responsibility in the PCI SCC: American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc.
