RS2 Software p.l.c. announces that it has successfully attracted subscriptions in excess of the threshold of 50% of the Combined Offering during the pre-placement stage.

June 2008 - RS2 signs Eur600,000 contract with New York firm

RS2 Software p.l.c. has signed a Eur600,000 contract with Transworks LLC of New York. Transworks LLC is an independent sales organisation which facilitates the card transaction process and acts as an intermediary between banks and retailers, and will be processing more than 400 million transactions per year. This falls in line with RS2's current expansion plans to further penetrate the US market and to enhance its potential for growth.

Software Developers - Messaging and Security Modules

To develop our ATM Management and ATM Controller, Authorisation and Switch, Key Management and Security modules. Your responsibilities will include the development, maintenance and support of the above modules that require specific knowledge of financial message formats and security processes. You will develop using latest technologies and be part of an experienced and very dynamic team.

Ideally you have previous experience but we will consider those willing to learn C/C++, Java, XSLT, TCP/IP. These with previous experience will be considered for lead developer roles.

Software Developers - Financial business applications

To enhance and update the functionality of our card management business applications. The successful candidates will be required to analyse new functional requirements and deliver high standard tested code that meets technical specifications, using approved and structured programming methods.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to Client/Server solutions and programming skills preferably Visual Basic. Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or equivalent and experience in financial software development would be considered an asset.

Software Developers - Web front end

To enhance and update our newly released web based front-end developed using J2ee technology to support multiple platforms. To enable rich front end features and easy client maintenance RS2 adopted the advanced ColdFusion technology on top of a J2EE deployment environment. The successful candidates will continue to develop maintain and support this application. You may also be required to assist with the implementation and deployment at client sites.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to n-tier architectures on J2EE environments and knowledge of one or more of the following: Java, Web Services, Oracle PL/SQL and ColdFusion.

Implementation Officers

Your role will be to configure, test and install our online modules. These include the ATM, POS, Encryption, Card Schemes and Authorisation modules.

Candidates will ideally posses a good understanding of network protocols and SQL. You will be based in our Malta office but will be required to make regular trips to client sites.
